How do I pay for Instructor Led Training MORE than two weeks before training?

Payment may be made by Purchase Order. Please contact your Couchbase Success Representative, or Couchbase Sales, for more information. Payment must be complete before attending training.

I enrolled in an Instructor-Led Training course, but something changed. Can I cancel?

Yes. Send cancellation notices to training@couchbase.com from the same email address used when you originally registered for the training. If a manager enrolled a staff person, the manager must send the cancellation notice. 

• Registrations canceled more than two weeks prior to the first day of the enrolled training may be fully refunded.
• Registrations canceled less than two weeks prior to the first day of the enrolled training may receive a 50% refund of the registration fee paid.
• Registrations canceled one week or less prior to the first day of the enrolled training, as well as no-shows at training, will not be refunded.

 

I enrolled in an Instructor-Led Training course, but something changed. How do I reschedule to a different training date?

Paid registrations may be rescheduled to a different publicly scheduled training date, if the request is received more than two weeks prior to the first day of the enrolled training delivery. Please send a notice to training@couchbase.com

Do you guarantee your training?

Yes. We guarantee that students who fully attend all lectures and complete all hands-on lab work for an Instructor-Led Training course will be competent and confident with the learning objectives presented for that course. Students who fully attend all lectures and complete all hands-on lab work for a course, but do not feel competent and confident with the stated learning objectives presented for that course, may retake any publicly scheduled delivery of the same course, without charge. 

 

Do you guarantee the learner's experience when attending via a Virtual Training Room?

Yes. If a student has fully complied with all setup requirements for a virtual training, but experiences a late start of more than 45 minutes, or a total downtime greater than 30 total minutes, the same student may retake any publicly scheduled delivery of the same course, without charge.

How do you justify your pricing?

Couchbase courses are priced comparably on a per-day basis with virtually all other major NoSQL, Big Data, and Cloud infrastructure vendors. The pricing reflects our cost to create, maintain, and deliver this training.

 

Do you provide certification?

Learners who complete online training courses will receive a Proof of Participation. Learners who complete hands-on classroom training will receive a Certificate of Course Completion. Couchbase Academy has a robust certification program for Associate and Professional-level exams. We offer 8 different exams in 3 different code languages for 3 different roles. How is your public training delivered?

We deliver our public training using Zoom. Users may attend the training from home or office. At the time of the training delivery, we will provide a link for students to join the remote classroom.

 

Are your online classes at the same skill level as the hands-on classroom courses?

Our self-paced online courses are more introductory than our classroom courses, though they still provide a strong foundation for understanding Couchbase technology. Many of them include a significant amount of hands-on lab work for you to complete independently. As with anything, how much you gain from these courses depends on the time and attention you invest in them.
